Knowledge Lawyer — EU Capital Markets & Listed Companies

Seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to join a leading international transactions practice focused on EU capital markets and regulation for listed companies. The role is open across Continental Europe (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Brussels or Madrid) and sits within the global Knowledge function supporting capital markets teams.

The post-holder will monitor EU regulatory developments (eg prospectus, market abuse, shareholder rights, transparency and sustainability-related rules), translate issues into practical guidance, produce internal and client-facing briefing notes, and support training and business development initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with lawyers across jurisdictions and with colleagues in innovation, BD and learning functions.

This is a hands-on Knowledge role: you will act as an internal advisor on complex questions, capture lessons from mandates, develop knowledge products and help raise the practice’s profile through thought leadership and client-facing content.

• Qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction (German qualification for Frankfurt; Dutch/Belgian/Spanish qualifications as applicable) with strong academic credentials.
• Proven experience as a fee-earner or knowledge/psl supporting capital markets and listed company work in the EU (debt and/or equity focus).
• Deep technical knowledge of EU capital markets regulation and listed company law, and ability to translate that into practical guidance for transaction teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience producing client-facing content and internal training, and comfort working across multiple European offices.
