We are seeking an experienced attorney to lead knowledge management and innovation initiatives for a corporate practice group. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to build, govern and maintain the practice's precedents, templates, checklists and other knowledge assets, and to improve how deal and experience data are captured and used.

The attorney will partner with practice leadership, attorneys and cross-functional teams (Innovation, IT, Business Development, Professional Development) to evaluate and deploy practice technologies (document automation, AI tools, KM platforms), define taxonomy and metadata, and drive adoption through training and playbooks. This is a senior, operational role that requires credible transactional experience and demonstrated KM/innovation delivery in a law firm or professional services environment.

  • J.D. required.
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate transactional experience (M&A, private equity, VC and/or securities) in a law firm or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of substantive experience in knowledge management, legal innovation, practice support or a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to lead KM initiatives, establish governance for precedents/templates, and partner effectively with attorneys and business teams.
  • Strong communicator, technologically fluent (comfortable with document automation and AI-enabled tools), and execution-oriented.
  • Ability to work on-site approximately 60% of the time; remote work permitted otherwise.
