Labor & Employment Associate — Costa Mesa

Experienced labor & employment attorney role in a large national practice based in Costa Mesa. The team handles employment litigation, counseling, and training across multiple jurisdictions and seeks an attorney to contribute at a high level on defense-side employment matters.

The successful candidate will have California bar admission and several years of employment litigation experience (management-side experience preferred). The role involves frequent client contact, interaction with government agencies and opposing counsel, and responsibility for all phases of litigation from pleadings and discovery through motions and depositions.

This position is suited to a proactive, detail-oriented litigator who can manage multiple matters, work independently and collaboratively, and help grow a busy labor & employment practice within a national platform.

• Admission to the California bar.
• Approximately 2–15 years of experience in employment law; employment litigation experience required (management-side preferred).
• Demonstrated litigation skills: drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions.
• Strong writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment; self-starter and team player.
