Apply in confidence →We are seeking a Benefits & Compensation Associate to join a national benefits practice with positions open across multiple U.S. offices. The role focuses on counseling employers on health and welfare plan matters, 401(k) and other retirement plan work, ERISA compliance, and related benefits issues.
The group receives steady work driven by regulatory change and routinely collaborates with corporate, labor & employment, ERISA litigation, tax, and health teams. Attorneys in this role will have frequent interaction with in‑house counsel and human resources professionals and will handle counseling, plan design, compliance reviews, and transactional support.

- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- At least 4 years of benefits and compensation experience in a law firm or consulting environment (ERISA, 401(k), health & welfare experience preferred).
- Strong analytical, writing, and client‑service skills; experience working with in‑house counsel and HR teams.
- Bar admission in the state of hire or ability to obtain admission there.
- Top academic credentials preferred.
