Seeking an experienced litigation partner to join a substantial national law firm’s Des Moines office. The role involves leading high-stakes commercial and regulatory litigation matters, supervising case teams, and trying significant disputes in state and federal courts.

The position offers a platform to grow a litigation practice regionally and nationally, working collaboratively with practice groups across the firm and drawing on robust firm resources (e-discovery, trial support, and national litigation teams).

Ideal for a lawyer who combines courtroom experience with client-development skills and who can mentor associates while managing complex matters from intake through trial or resolution.

Established partner-level litigation experience with a record of handling complex commercial or regulatory disputes
Proven trial and/or arbitration experience and strong written and oral advocacy skills
Demonstrated business development ability; portable client relationships welcome
Bar admission in Iowa or willingness to seek admission; ability to travel regionally as needed
