Lateral Partner — Agriculture Practice, Washington, D.C.

Senior partner opportunity to lead and grow an established agriculture practice from the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. The role focuses on counseling agribusiness clients across transactional, regulatory and compliance matters, with a recognized sub-focus on cannabis-related agricultural issues.

Open to candidates nationwide. The team seeks an experienced rainmaker who can both advise on complex regulatory and transactional matters and actively develop new business across agriculture industry sectors.

• Proven partner- or senior counsel-level background in agriculture law, agribusiness, or closely related regulatory practice
• Demonstrated experience advising on regulatory, compliance and transactional matters affecting agricultural clients; cannabis regulatory experience desirable
• Track record of client development and relationship management; portable business welcomed
• Ability to lead client engagements and mentor junior lawyers
• Bar admission in the U.S.; eligibility to practice in Washington, D.C., preferred
