Lead hire for a partner role based in Ghent with a focus on competition/antitrust work across the transportation and energy sectors. The role combines competition advisory, regulatory matters and contentious work for corporate and industry clients.

The firm seeks a market-facing partner able to originate and grow a portable practice in these sectors, lead teams on complex cross-border matters, and work closely with regulatory authorities and in-house counsel.

Established partner-level track record in antitrust/competition law, ideally with sector experience in transportation and/or energy.
Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships and to grow a portable practice.
Experience handling competition investigations, merger control filings and litigation/representation before regulators or courts.
Strong leadership and team management skills; comfortable working on cross-border matters.
