Apply in confidence →Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy Washington, D.C. practice focusing on antitrust and competition matters and complex patent litigation, with significant work tied to private equity, life sciences and technology clients. The role will lead litigation and enforcement matters, mentor junior lawyers, and develop a market-facing practice in the region.
The team handles high‑stakes disputes and transactional antitrust work alongside patent enforcement and defense, including matters arising from private equity transactions and technology/life‑sciences portfolios. This position offers significant client contact and responsibility for bringing in and expanding business.
- Established partner with a track record in antitrust litigation and/or patent litigation (particularly life sciences or technology).
- Experience advising on private equity‑related competition issues and complex transactional and litigation matters.
- Demonstrable client development ability and a portable book of business or clear plan to develop one.
- Strong courtroom and trial preparation experience; ability to manage and mentor teams on big matters.
- Admissions and standing to practice in DC (or ability to obtain promptly).
