Lateral Partner, Banking & Finance — Washington, D.C.

Leading global law firm seeks an experienced banking and finance partner to join its Washington, D.C. team. The role will focus on advising lenders and borrowers on a wide range of commercial finance matters, leading transactional workstreams and developing client relationships.

The successful candidate will take a senior role within an established finance practice, mentoring junior lawyers and helping to grow the group’s market presence. A portable practice or demonstrable origination ability will be positively considered.

• Established partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client matters and leading deal teams.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on secured and unsecured financing documents.
• Admission to a U.S. bar (Washington, D.C. admission preferred) and eligibility to practise in the U.S.
