Seek a Lateral Partner to join a major global law firm’s Boston office to lead and grow its bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights practice. The role focuses on representing lenders, creditors and distressed stakeholders in restructurings, workouts, distressed acquisitions and related litigation.

The partner will work across finance and restructuring matters, advising on creditor enforcement, debtor-side and creditor-side restructurings, distressed-debt transactions and complex insolvency disputes. The team collaborates with finance, litigation and restructuring specialists across the firm.

A portable practice is welcomed; the position offers senior responsibility for client origination, team leadership and cross-practice business development in the US market.

Established partner with substantial experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights and distressed-debt matters.
Track record advising lenders, creditors or distressed investors on restructurings, workouts, distressed acquisitions and related disputes.
Proven client-development ability and experience leading teams and originating work.
Strong drafting, negotiation and courtroom experience on insolvency-related matters.
