Lateral Partner Bankruptcy & Finance Washington, D.C.

An established Washington, D.C.-based law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Bankruptcy and Finance practices. The role focuses on representing creditors and other stakeholders in restructurings, insolvency proceedings, and related financing matters.

The successful candidate will lead matters, develop and maintain client relationships, and work across finance and restructuring teams on complex in-court and out-of-court workouts. The position offers partner-level responsibility and the opportunity to grow a portable practice within an active creditor-side platform.

• Partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights and related finance matters
• Proven track record of leading complex restructurings and creditor-side representation
• Business development capability and experience managing client relationships; portable practice welcomed
• Ability to supervise associates and collaborate with cross-practice teams; admission to practice in D.C. or eligible
