Well-established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to grow and lead its bankruptcy and restructuring practice in the Washington office. The role will focus on both lender-side high‑yield/distressed-debt work and debtor-side restructuring matters.

The successful candidate will join a market-facing team and help expand existing capabilities across creditor and debtor representations, while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development.

Partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and distressed-debt matters (both lender-side and debtor-side experience preferred)
Proven track record of originating or materially contributing to business; portable practice expected
Strong substantive restructuring skills, including high‑yield and distressed-debt transactions and financings
Bar admission and ability to practice in the jurisdiction
