Lateral Partner — Bankruptcy & Restructuring / Finance — McLean, VA

Leading national firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Finance practice in the Northern Virginia (McLean) office. The role will focus on creditor representation, restructuring transactions and related debtor/creditor litigation across regional and national matters.

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team advising financial institutions, creditors and other stakeholders on workouts, restructurings, insolvency proceedings and loan enforcement. The position offers an opportunity to develop a portable practice and collaborate on cross-office matters.

• Established partner with significant experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of debtor/creditor litigation, workouts, and financing structures.
• Track record of originating or developing client relationships; portable book of business welcomed.
• Strong litigation and transactional skills, excellent client communication, and ability to work on complex, cross-jurisdictional matters.
