Lateral Partner — Bankruptcy & Restructuring / Finance, San Francisco

Seeking a senior lateral partner to join a leading international law firm’s San Francisco office to build and lead a bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights practice. The role focuses on creditor-side work, distressed debt matters and out-of-court and in-court restructurings.

The partner will work with an established cross-practice team across finance and bankruptcy matters, cultivate client relationships, and handle complex insolvency-driven transactions and contested proceedings. A portable practice or demonstrable client origination is welcome.

• Partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights or distressed debt matters.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
• Strong courtroom and/or restructuring negotiation experience, including contested insolvency proceedings and creditor representations.
• Leadership skills to develop a team and collaborate across finance and restructuring practices; admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
