Leading national practice seeks a lateral partner to join its Houston restructuring and creditors' rights team. The role focuses on creditor-side work, distressed-debt and restructuring matters across bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings.

The team advises lenders, noteholders and other creditor constituencies on complex workouts, insolvency proceedings and contested creditor remedies. The role offers significant client contact, courtroom and negotiation work, and collaboration with finance and litigation colleagues.

The firm welcomes candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable business development capabilities to grow local and regional creditor-side work.

Established partner with substantial bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights experience
Proven track record on creditor-side restructurings, distressed-debt transactions and insolvency litigation
Demonstrable business development or portable client relationships preferred
Licensed to practice in Texas or eligible for admission; strong writing and courtroom advocacy skills
