Top-tier law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Los Angeles bankruptcy and restructuring team. The role offers leadership responsibility on complex insolvency matters across creditor, debtor and stakeholder representations, and the chance to grow a West Coast restructuring platform.

The practice handles a broad mix of chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings and distressed financings. The team works on cross-border and domestic matters and collaborates with corporate, finance and litigation colleagues.

Strong client development and team-building opportunities are available for an experienced partner with a track record in market-facing bankruptcy work and the ability to help expand the group’s regional presence.

Admitted to practice in California (or eligible for reciprocity)
Established track record in bankruptcy and restructuring matters at partner level
Proven client-development experience; a portable practice or demonstrable business origination is preferred
Experience with chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings and distressed finance transactions
