Lateral Partner — Bankruptcy & Restructuring, Minneapolis

Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Minneapolis bankruptcy and restructuring practice. The role focuses on advising debtors, creditors and other stakeholders on complex insolvency, restructuring and distressed corporate matters.

The partner will join a collaborative, multi-office team and take a leading role on local matters while contributing to regional and national restructurings. Expect client development, courtroom and transactional work, and mentoring of junior lawyers.

• Proven partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and related corporate insolvency work.
• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills; experience representing debtors, creditors or committees preferred.
• Track record of originating or growing business and ability to develop client relationships in the region; a portable practice is welcome.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor more junior lawyers; active bar admission in Minnesota or willingness to obtain admission.
