Apply in confidence →Seeking a lateral partner to join a national law firm's Philadelphia office to lead and expand an established bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights practice. The role will combine client relationship leadership, courtroom advocacy and team development across debtor, creditor and restructuring-side matters.
The team handles complex insolvency-focused financings, restructurings and creditor enforcement work for commercial and financial clients. The firm is looking for a senior practitioner who can manage high-stakes matters, mentor junior lawyers and collaborate with finance and corporate colleagues on cross-cutting engagements.
Candidates with an existing portable practice or proven origination capability in bankruptcy, restructuring or creditors' rights are encouraged to apply; the role offers a platform to grow a regional/national practice out of the Philadelphia market.
- Partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights matters
- Proven track record of leading complex restructurings, creditor enforcement or insolvency-related financings
- Strong courtroom and negotiation skills; experience with Chapter 11 and related proceedings
- Ability to develop and mentor teams and collaborate across finance/corporate practices; business development/origination capability
- Active admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to qualify promptly
