A global law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Salt Lake City bankruptcy, restructuring and creditor-side finance practice. The role focuses on creditor rights, distressed-debt representation and complex restructurings across domestic and cross-border matters.

The team advises lenders, distressed creditors and financial stakeholders on workout strategies, creditor litigation and restructuring transactions. The firm seeks a partner who can lead matters, work with deal teams and develop client relationships within a broad finance and restructuring platform.

Portable business is welcomed; candidates with an established creditor-side or distressed-debt practice will be prioritized.

Established partner-level background in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights representation
Proven experience on distressed-debt, workouts, and creditor-side litigation or enforcement
Track record of originating or managing client relationships; portable practice preferred
Strong leadership and teamwork skills; ability to mentor junior lawyers and lead deal teams
Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to obtain admission
