Apply in confidence →Established, market-facing law firm seeks a lateral partner to expand its Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditor Rights practice in Washington, D.C. The role will lead complex insolvency and creditor-side matters and work with a team advising lenders, creditors' committees and other stakeholders in out-of-court restructurings and chapter 11 cases.
The firm is looking for a seasoned partner able to manage and develop client relationships, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to practice development across the regional restructuring platform. This is an opportunity to join a broad international platform with significant cross-border and finance-related work.
- Established partner with significant experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights work
- Demonstrable courtroom and negotiation experience in Chapter 11 and complex restructurings
- Proven track record of originating or managing client relationships; portable practice welcomed
- Ability to lead teams, mentor associates, and collaborate across finance and cross-border practices
