A leading global law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to help grow a combined commercial litigation and corporate transactional capability in its Houston office. The role is focused on high-value commercial disputes and cross-border M&A, with particular sector experience desirable.

The team-oriented search prioritizes candidates able to bring or lead a portable practice and to attract follow-on transactional work; group or multi-lawyer moves are preferred. The position will support matters across core markets including New York, Northern California, Texas, London and Germany, and across sectors such as life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and automotive.

Established partner-level experience in commercial litigation and M&A or transactional work.
Proven record of originating and maintaining client relationships; demonstrable portable practice preferred.
Comfort leading teams and integrating multiple lawyers into a market-focused platform.
Sectors experience in one or more of: life sciences, financial services, technology, energy, automotive.
Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s) and ability to work on cross-border matters.
