Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to grow a combined commercial litigation and corporate transactional practice from its San Francisco office. The role emphasizes high‑value matters across sectors including life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and automotive.

The hiring focus is on acquiring established teams or a portable practice with a meaningful client base rather than single hires. The team will handle complex commercial disputes and significant M&A work and will coordinate with offices and clients across the US and Europe.

Established partner with demonstrable experience in commercial litigation and M&A.
Proven client relationships and a portable practice or willingness to join as part of a team.
Track record advising clients in life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and/or automotive sectors.
Ability and interest to work collaboratively across multiple offices and jurisdictions (including U.S. and Europe).
Bar admission in California (or ability to qualify promptly) and senior transactional/litigation experience appropriate to partner level.
