A highly regarded law firm
Apply in confidence →Well‑regarded national firm seeks a senior litigation partner to lead and grow a busy Vancouver disputes practice. The role combines hands‑on commercial litigation work with responsibility for mentoring a strong associate bench and providing senior courtroom leadership.
Ideally the hire will have a hybrid practice that includes some Bankruptcy & Insolvency work, able to fill a gap in the office without being a full‑time B&I specialist. The firm is looking for an experienced, business‑generating partner who can contribute immediately and help stabilize an overstretched partnership team.
Standard entry is as an income partner with a clear, performance‑based path to equity; an exceptional candidate with a substantial portable practice may be considered for direct equity. The office values partners who can bring a reliable, corporate‑brand client base and who are available to lead locally for several years.
- Senior partner-level commercial litigator with significant courtroom and trial experience.
- Track record of originating and maintaining client relationships; a genuinely portable book of business is important.
- Experience or a regular practice in Bankruptcy & Insolvency preferred (hybrid practice acceptable, not full‑time).
- Proven leader and mentor, able to manage and develop associates and share matters across the team.
- Committed to running and growing a Vancouver practice for the foreseeable future (not immediate retirement track).
- Willing to join as an income partner with potential promotion to equity based on performance; exceptional candidates may be considered for equity on entry.
