Senior partner hire to join a well-established Canada-wide practice, based in Montreal, focused on compliance, regulatory work and environmental matters. The role will involve advising on regulatory strategy, defence-side regulatory litigation, and complex transactional or advisory matters with Quebec-specific regulatory overlays.

The group is particularly interested in candidates who can bring a portable practice or who are service partners in specialised, Quebec-centric areas of regulatory law. Work spans mid‑market transactional matters and niche regulatory mandates across sectors that include telecommunications, IP and competition-related regulatory issues.

Established partner-level experience in compliance/regulatory and environmental law; proven record of advising on regulatory strategy and related litigation or transactional work.
Portable practice or demonstrable client generation history appropriate for a lateral partner role (portable book expected; exact threshold handled confidentially).
Admitted to practice in Quebec (or eligible) with strong commercial judgment and leadership experience.
Bilingual proficiency (French and English) preferred; sector experience in telecommunications, IP or competition is a plus.
