A well-established international law practice is recruiting a lateral partner to lead and expand its Compliance & Regulatory and Government & Public law work from the Kansas City office. The role will focus on advising clients on regulatory compliance, government contracts, and public-sector matters across key U.S. markets.

The ideal candidate will take a senior client-facing role, managing complex compliance programs, guiding government-contracting strategies, and mentoring junior lawyers. The firm is seeking a partner with an existing portable practice and a track record of business development.

Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and an active bar membership.
Significant partner-level experience in regulatory compliance, government contracts, or government/public law.
Proven client-development capability and an existing portable practice or demonstrable book of business.
Strong leadership skills, including team management and mentoring experience.
Excellent written and oral advocacy, and the ability to work across national practice teams.
