Established national practice seeking a partner to join its Chicago office to lead and expand compliance, regulatory, and government affairs work. The role focuses on advising clients across regulated industries on federal and state regulatory matters and interfacing with public-sector stakeholders.

The ideal partner will take a lead role on client development, case strategy, and team management, working closely with cross-office colleagues on high-profile regulatory and public-sector engagements. This is a visible position with opportunities to grow a portable practice.

Proven partner-level experience in regulatory, compliance, or government & public law.
Track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development ability preferred.
Strong litigation or regulatory advocacy skills and experience interacting with federal/state agencies.
Ability to lead teams, mentor junior lawyers, and integrate work across offices.
