A highly regarded law firm
Apply in confidence →Senior partner hire to support an expanding Canadian practice with a primary focus on construction & infrastructure, supplemented by commercial litigation and labour & employment work. The role supports office growth in Toronto and is part of a broader national expansion strategy.
Priority is front-end construction and infrastructure work (project documentation, contract drafting and project finance advisory) rather than defence litigation, alongside established labour & employment and commercial litigation capabilities. The firm welcomes candidates who can bring portable business and help grow the platform in Ontario and the Prairies.
Equity or income-partner structures are available depending on book size and growth potential. Team moves (partner plus associates) are encouraged where they create immediate capacity and cross-office synergies.
- Established partner-level experience in construction & infrastructure, commercial litigation, or labour & employment.
- Proven portable practice / demonstrable book of business; ability and appetite to grow regional workstreams.
- Strong drafting experience on complex construction contracts and project finance matters (for construction-focused candidates).
- For litigation hires, a fully portable litigation book is required given limited internal workflow; litigation candidates should be able to demonstrate sustained client relationships.
- Admission to practice in relevant Canadian jurisdictions (Ontario preferred); candidates with Prairie (AB/SK/MB) ties are a strong fit.
