Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a construction and real estate litigation practice in the Kansas City office of a leading US law firm. The role involves handling complex commercial construction disputes, insurance-defense matters related to construction projects, and contentious real estate issues across regional matters.

The firm offers an established platform and client base; the successful candidate will be expected to bring a visible litigation practice, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development and practice strategy. This is a partner-level position with significant autonomy over case direction and client relationships.

Proven partner-level experience in construction and commercial real estate litigation
Track record of courtroom and/or arbitration advocacy and case management
Demonstrated ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable practice preferred
Leadership experience mentoring associates and contributing to practice development
Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to become admitted
