Established international law firm seeks a lateral partner to strengthen a combined corporate and commercial litigation offering in Houston. The role is focused on big-ticket M&A and high‑stakes commercial disputes alongside transactional and corporate governance matters.

The team is prioritizing group hires (teams or practice groups) that can immediately scale transactional capacity and handle significant commercial litigation. Ideal candidates will have an established, portable practice and a track record of originating and leading matters across regulated sectors.

Partner-level experience in both complex corporate transactions (including M&A) and high‑stakes commercial litigation
Proven record of client origination or an established portable practice; preference for candidates who can bring or lead a team
Sector experience in one or more: life sciences, financial services, technology, energy, automotive
Comfort working across major markets (New York, Northern California, Texas, UK/Germany) and with cross‑border matters
Bar admission in the relevant US jurisdiction; strong professional references and stable career progression
