Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its corporate transactional and commercial litigation capabilities in Houston. The hire will help grow cross-border and domestic work across corporate deals and high-stakes commercial disputes.

They are prioritizing team or multi-lawyer moves to scale practice capacity and expand coverage in key sectors including life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and automotive. The role involves business development across U.S. and international markets (notably New York, Northern California, Texas, the UK and Germany).

The ideal candidate will bring a proven record of originating and handling complex corporate transactions and commercial litigation, experience leading teams, and an established portable practice or demonstrable client development pipeline.

Senior partner with substantial experience in both corporate transactions and commercial litigation.
Track record of originating work and developing client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development pipeline preferred.
Sector experience in life sciences, financial services, technology, energy or automotive industries.
Proven ability to lead or integrate teams and manage cross‑border matters.
