Lateral Partner — Corporate & Commercial Litigation, Houston

Leading international law firm seeking a lateral partner (or team) to strengthen its Houston office across high-value corporate transactions and big-ticket commercial litigation. The role emphasizes cross-border transactional work and complex disputes for clients in regulated and commercial sectors.

Preferred candidates will have experience advising on private equity, venture capital and M&A matters, and handling significant commercial disputes. The office works closely with practices covering finance, technology and energy, and coordinates matters across the U.S. and key international markets.

Firm preference is for team or multi-lawyer moves rather than single hires; candidates should bring a demonstrable, portable practice (including at least one anchor client) and a track record of originating or leading substantial matters.

• Established partner-level experience handling corporate transactions and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Proven record in one or more target sectors (private equity, venture-backed technology, energy, financial services, life sciences preferred).
• Experience leading teams and managing cross-border matters; strong business development and client relationships.
• Willingness to collaborate across offices and contribute to growth in regional and international markets; team moves encouraged.
