Lateral Partner — Corporate, Employment & IP Litigation (Winston‑Salem)

Boutique-sized national firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Winston‑Salem office to strengthen its Corporate, Labor & Employment and Intellectual Property litigation capabilities. The opportunity suits a rainmaking partner with an established, portable practice who can lead client work and develop business in the Southeast.

The role offers flexibility on practice focus — strong candidates may come from corporate/M&A, employment (including ERISA and benefits), or IP/patent litigation. The office collaborates with regional and national teams, and the firm is open to partners who will work across offices to grow client relationships.

This is a partner-level position with responsibility for originating work, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to firm growth in the region.

• Established partner with a portable practice and demonstrable book of business (open to partners across corporate, employment/ERISA, or IP litigation).
• Proven business development and client relationship skills; ability to originate and grow work.
• Significant experience in one or more of: corporate/M&A transactions, employment & ERISA matters, or IP/patent litigation.
• Track record of managing teams, mentoring associates, and collaborating across offices/teams.
• Admission to relevant state bar and ability to practice in the office location.
