Lateral Partner — Corporate & Finance (Los Angeles)

Leading Los Angeles office of a highly regarded law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Corporate and Finance practice groups. The role will focus on private equity and venture capital transactions, advising sponsors, portfolio companies and financial sponsors across complex financings and M&A.

This is a partner-track lateral role with a path to equity; the hiring team is looking for a portable practice and demonstrated ability to originate and lead deals. The position combines client development, transaction execution and team leadership within a busy, growth-oriented practice in Los Angeles.

• Established, portable private equity or venture capital practice with a proven origination record
• Strong transaction experience (M&A, buyouts, growth financings, portfolio company work)
• Track record of managing deal teams and mentoring junior lawyers
• Bar admission in California or eligibility to transfer; excellent client-development and relationship-management skills
