Lateral Partner — Corporate & Finance (Private Equity & Venture) — Los Angeles

Senior partner hire to join a leading US law firm's Corporate and Finance practice in the Los Angeles / Santa Monica market, focusing on private equity and venture capital matters. The role centers on leading high‑value transactions, advising sponsors and growth companies, and expanding a market-facing transactional practice.

You will originate and execute PE and VC buyouts, minority investments, and financings, manage deal teams and coordinate with cross‑practice specialists on complex matters. The team serves institutional sponsors, investment funds and emerging growth companies.

The firm is seeking a partner with a portable practice and a clear partnership trajectory; there is a path to equity partnership over time for the right candidate.

• Established partner-level transactional experience in private equity and/or venture capital
• Proven track record of originating and closing complex M&A, buyouts or growth financings
• Demonstrable portable client relationships and business development capability
• Strong team leadership and ability to work across corporate and finance disciplines
