Ideal candidates will have a transactional corporate/finance background (M&A, securities, banking, real estate) and a demonstrated ability to originate and grow work. The role offers direct involvement in client development, cross-practice collaboration and potential equity participation for the right partner.

Partner-level lateral with strong transactional experience in M&A, securities, banking and/or real estate
Portable practice or demonstrable book of business and proven origination skills
Entrepreneurial, client-facing approach with ability to develop new business and work across practice groups
Admission to the relevant Canadian bar (or eligibility) and track record of leading matters and mentoring junior lawyers
