Lateral Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Energy) — Atlanta

A national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Atlanta office to lead and grow an integrated Corporate and Intellectual Property practice with a focus on energy and life sciences transactions. The role emphasizes deal work across M&A, private equity, and cross-disciplinary IP issues tied to commercial and transactional matters.

The ideal partner will have an established transactional practice, experience advising corporate clients on governance and PE-related matters, and the ability to originate and steward client relationships. This is a partner-level opportunity to build a team and collaborate with lawyers across corporate, IP and energy groups.

• Partner-level experience in M&A, private equity and transactional IP matters, preferably with exposure to energy or life-sciences clients.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable business welcomed.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing deal teams and mentoring associates.
• Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (Georgia admissions preferred) and able to work from the Atlanta office.
