Lateral Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Energy) — New York

Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy New York office and lead an established transactional practice at the intersection of corporate, IP and energy matters. The role focuses on M&A, private equity and other corporate transactions, with frequent work for life sciences and energy-sector clients.

The partner will originate and lead deals, manage client relationships, and collaborate with cross-practice teams on IP-sensitive transactions and governance matters. The team handles complex, commercial matters for strategic and private equity clients.

Portable business and demonstrable client development capability are welcome; the firm offers support for growing a book of business and integrating into existing transactional and IP platforms.

• Proven partner-level transactional experience in M&A and private equity, including IP-sensitive deals
• Demonstrated client origination and relationship management skills
• Track record advising life sciences, energy, or other corporate clients on complex transactions and governance
• Experience leading deal teams and collaborating across corporate and IP specialists
