Lateral Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (M&A/PE) — Baltimore

Established, national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Baltimore corporate group with a strong Intellectual Property and energy practice. The role focuses on transactional work—mergers & acquisitions, private equity deals, and corporate governance matters—often for life sciences and energy-sector clients.

The successful candidate will lead and develop client relationships, work across multidisciplinary teams, and handle complex, large-scale transactions. This is an opportunity to join a busy platform with national reach and an experienced transactional and IP bench.

• Proven partner-level experience in M&A and private equity transactions with IP-intensive matters (life sciences experience a plus).
• Track record of originating and managing client engagements; portable client relationships or book of business preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, experience mentoring associates, and ability to collaborate across corporate, IP and energy teams.
