Lateral Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (M&A / Private Equity) — Sioux Falls

Mid-to-large U.S. law firm seeks a lateral partner to lead and expand its corporate and intellectual property transactional practice from the Sioux Falls office. The role combines M&A, private equity, and lifecycle transactional work, with opportunities to advise life sciences and energy-sector clients.

The partner will handle complex, fee-earning transactions, mentor junior lawyers, and work with cross-practice teams on deals that span corporate governance, IP licensing and energy-related commercial matters. The firm is looking for a market-facing lawyer who can develop local relationships while leveraging a broader national platform.

• Established partner-level experience in M&A, private equity and transactional IP matters.
• Track record of originating and managing complex deals; portable book of business preferred.
• Experience advising life sciences and/or energy clients a plus.
• Licensed to practice in the U.S.; leadership, business development and team management skills.
