Lateral Partner — Corporate, IP & Technology (San Diego)

Senior partner hire to join a global firm’s San Diego office focused on corporate transactional work, technology transactions and intellectual property matters. The role will work across M&A, capital markets and emerging-growth company matters and partner with IP litigators and transactions teams.

The team is growing its West Coast presence and seeks a partner who can lead client engagements, originate business and collaborate across offices and practice groups. This is a client-facing senior role with significant opportunity to shape regional strategy and build a group in market.

• Established partner with a strong transactional or IP practice at a national or international law firm.
• Substantive experience in M&A (including PE), capital markets (issuer-side experience helpful), emerging growth/startups and technology transactions; IP litigation/transactional experience a plus.
• Proven client origination and relationship-management skills; portable practice preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across offices and develop a growing regional practice; admission to the relevant state bar or eligibility required.
