Lateral Partner — Corporate & IP Transactions (Energy focus), Los Angeles

Seeking a lateral partner to join a national law firm’s Los Angeles transactional team. The role will combine corporate and intellectual property work with a focus on energy-related transactions and commercial deals across life sciences and private equity sectors.

The partner will handle complex M&A, private equity and transactional matters that intersect with IP and energy industry issues, advise on corporate governance, and work with cross-practice deal teams. This is an opportunity to join a broad platform with national reach while maintaining a strong West Coast practice.

• Partner-level experience handling M&A, private equity and/or significant corporate transactions involving IP or energy assets
• Proven track record of client service on cross-practice deals (corporate, IP, energy, life sciences)
• Business development ability and openness to bringing or expanding a portable practice
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and JD from an accredited law school
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
