Lateral Partner, Corporate & Litigation — New York

Seeking a New York–based lateral partner to help expand a national firm's corporate footprint in the city. The role is a mix of transactional corporate work and litigation, with particular interest in healthcare litigation and real estate (land use & zoning) expertise.

The team has substantial existing trial and healthcare-litigation work to support a new partner, including near-term overflow that can be backfilled. The group emphasizes a collaborative culture that rewards partners for doing the work and supports active cross-selling and matter ownership.

There is flexibility on structure (equity and non‑equity options) and on billing arrangements during a business-development period. Candidates with a portable practice will be favored, though the team will consider partners with strong relationships or complementary skills even if portability is modest.

• Established partner-level experience in corporate transactions and/or litigation; healthcare litigation and land use/zoning experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and develop client matters and to work collaboratively with colleagues across practices.
• Track record of originating or materially developing business; portable client relationships preferred.
• Comfort with standard partner compensation tiers and willingness to participate in firm business‑development initiatives.
