Leading national law firm is expanding its New York land use and zoning practice and seeks a lateral partner to help build bench strength in complex entitlement matters. The role focuses on advising developers and property owners on NYC zoning, development rights (including air rights) and multi-party entitlement strategies.

Ideal candidates will have a well-established practice handling complicated municipal approvals, ULURP/land use proceedings, zoning analyses and transactional coordination across development lifecycles. The team is open to partners with a portable practice or institutional relationships that can add immediate depth and new opportunities.

This is a strategic hire for a group growing its New York capabilities; candidates who are not actively looking but open to a discreet conversation about fit are welcome.

Partner-level experience in land use, zoning and entitlements (significant NYC experience preferred)
Track record representing developers, owners or institutional real estate clients on complex zoning and approval matters
Experience with air rights, development-rights strategies and municipal approval processes
Portable practice or demonstrable client relationships preferred; strong business development ability
