Lateral Partner — Corporate & M&A, Atlanta

Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established corporate practice in Atlanta, with a focus on M&A, corporate governance and transactional work. This role suits a partner who will lead and expand a transactional corporate practice within a full-service platform.

The position involves originating and executing cross-border and domestic M&A and other corporate transactions, advising boards and senior executives on governance matters, and mentoring junior lawyers. The team handles a mix of middle-market and larger transactional matters across varied industries.

Candidates with an existing portable practice are encouraged to apply — there is an expectation that the hire will bring and grow client relationships in the region.

• Juris Doctor and active bar admission (Georgia or eligible to transfer).
• Established track record advising on M&A and corporate transactional matters.
• Proven client origination and relationship management abilities; portable practice preferred.
• Strong commercial judgment, leadership experience, and ability to supervise associates.
