Established global law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Chicago corporate team with a focus on M&A, private equity and capital markets. The role will work on cross-border and domestic transactional matters across technology, life sciences, financial services and energy sectors.

The team pursues growth across corporate, emerging-growth and technology transactional work and values partners who can both originate and lead complex deals while mentoring senior associates. This is an opportunity to join a broad, multi-office platform with significant resources for market-facing business development.

Proven partner-level transactional experience in M&A, private equity and/or capital markets.
Demonstrable portable client relationships or ability to originate and grow business preferred.
Track record of leading deal teams and managing complex, cross-border transactions; sector experience in technology, life sciences, financial services or energy a plus.
Based in or able to relocate to Chicago and collaborate with a national/international practice group.
