Leading Chicago corporate team seeks a laterally oriented partner to join its transactional practice. The role focuses on mergers & acquisitions, complex corporate transactions, and corporate governance matters across commercial sectors.

Successful candidates will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary group that advises public and private clients on strategic transactions and governance issues. The team works on cross‑border and domestic deals and coordinates with related practices as needed.

An established, portable practice is welcome; the role is designed for a partner who can develop business and contribute to firm growth in the Chicago market.

Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and active bar membership.
Proven partner-level experience in M&A and transactional work; strong record of handling complex deals and governance matters.
Demonstrable business development ability; an established portable practice or clear potential to generate client work.
Strong client relationship, project management, and team leadership skills; able to mentor junior lawyers.
