Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A & Energy (Madison)

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Madison corporate team, focusing on M&A and high‑value transactional work across technology and energy sectors. The role will handle deal‑side matters including corporate transactions, tech transactions, capital markets matters and project development/commercial work for renewables and traditional energy clients.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and work on cross‑practice matters that span corporate, finance and energy disciplines. This is a partner hire — candidates with an existing, portable practice or demonstrable client development track record in M&A, project finance or energy transactions are encouraged to apply.

• Established partner with a demonstrated record of leading M&A and complex transactional matters.
• Substantial experience in energy (renewables and/or oil & gas), project development and project finance, or technology transactions and related capital markets work.
• Proven client development skills and a portable practice or clear ability to generate new business.
• J.D., active bar admission, and strong reputational references in the market.
