Lateral Partner — Corporate & M&A, Harrisburg

A highly regarded law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its corporate practice in Harrisburg. The role will focus on leading and executing M&A and other transactional matters, advising on corporate governance, and expanding the regional corporate offering.

The successful candidate will work with an established team of corporate lawyers, handling mid-market to complex transactions and counseling closely held and private equity-backed companies. There is scope to build and originate business and to take a visible leadership role in the office.

• Proven track record as a partner or equivalent senior lawyer in corporate/M&A transactions
• Strong transactional experience across M&A, corporate governance and general corporate matters
• Demonstrable client development and business-generation ability (portable practice welcomed)
• Admissions and standing to practise in the relevant jurisdiction or willingness to obtain admission
• Based in or willing to relocate to Harrisburg and able to collaborate with a regional/national team
