Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A, Minneapolis

Opportunity for a partner-level corporate lawyer to join a sizable national firm’s Minneapolis corporate team. The role focuses on M&A, transactional work and corporate governance matters for a range of U.S.-based and cross-border clients.

The successful candidate will lead deal teams, develop client relationships and work across practice groups on complex transactions. The group handles buy- and sell-side transactions, corporate structuring and governance counseling.

• Established partner with significant corporate/M&A experience.
• Proven track record leading transactions and managing deal teams.
• Ability to originate and develop client relationships; a portable practice is welcome.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client-management skills; experience with cross-border matters is a plus.
