Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A — New York

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its New York corporate team, focusing on M&A, complex transactional work, and corporate governance matters. The role offers the opportunity to lead deals and advise public and private companies across industries.

The team handles cross-border and domestic transactions and works closely with related practice groups to deliver integrated corporate advice. The hire will be expected to originate and steward client relationships and contribute to strategic business development for the office.

• Established partner with substantial M&A and transactional experience.
• Proven track record of leading transactions and managing teams on complex deals.
• Portable client relationships and demonstrable business development ability.
• Admitted to practice in New York (or able to obtain admission).
• Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and experience with corporate governance matters.
